Lunch time Ride, Calf Creek

A lunch time ride into the Sapphire mountains on the East side of the valley.

Seems like every ride around here is 90% continuous up uphill with 10% crazy descent.

This week's ride was above Lake Como.

Fun Pano

Here's a Pano I took on my ride this past Saturday. It is looking West-North-East.

Though much of the snow has melted on the valley side of the mountains, there is still tons on the next ridge in and in the valleys.

The valleys on the left are Mill Creek, Sheafman, and Fred Burr.

The visible peaks are about 7000 to 8500 feet.

On the right, the hills are part of the Saphire Mountain range.

To the North is Missoula.

I plan to do a few more panos this summer when I get a chance to do some hikes.
