After a storm

Lightning, sleet, and rain drops the size of marbles came rushing
through this eve. I got soaked in less than 15 seconds on my way to
the car.

Good day, mix of sun, snow, and powder. This picture is deceptive, it makes the mountain look kind of small, but the runs are pretty nice and long on this side. To the left of the mountain, is the north side, but you can't see it from here. The runs drop down well below the lodge.

The chair lift on the left takes 15 minutes from bottom to top! To the right somewhere is the lodge.

There were at best a few hundred people on the mountain, which meant we could ski all day in powder.

WOW!

The sad thing is that this is the last weekend Lost Trails is open for the year, and it is also the best snow they've had this season. Not a lot of snow in Montana this year.
