Not always fun and games

Just in case you thought we lived in a perfect world where Rileys were
always happy and well behaved, here's a picture to dispell that! Ah,
but these incidents are fortunately infrequent.

A visit from grandma Joan

New milestones

We hit a couple of real milestones the other day.
First, while getting ready for her bath, Riley said "bubbles now?",
meaning that she wanted bubbles in her bath when she saw that I hadn't
put any in.
Second, she used her potty all by herself!

Little helper

Riley has been helping me build a shed in the back yard. Here, she
helps by dumping all the nails out and flinging them about. Earlier
she was stress testing the wall boards by jumping on them. Very
helpful.

Sandbox for Riley

Since we had so much fun at the beach, I thought I'd make her a sand
box. Not so fun on a hot day is lugging 800 pounds of sand around.
