Kaia's checkup update

Kaia's checkup went well.  Only one problem, there were a bunch of sick kids at the pediatrician's office (we debated on postponing due to the swine flu, but there are so far no cases in Alameda Co.).

Anyway, here are the numbers:
Length: 22.5" 45% of average

Weight: 11lbs, 1.6oz 50%

Head OD: 37.8cm 10%

Quite remarkable.  Not only does this represent a major jump in her percentiles over the past month, but there are very similar to Riley's distribution at the same age , if not the numbers - taking into account Kaia's delayed start.

Kaia has her first round of shots today, and an official weigh in at her belated two month wellness check.
Today is also Colleen's birthday, so make sure you call her and wish her a happy b-day!

All of the sudden, Kaia loves to play with toys, and especially with her big sister.

She has become a new baby.  Eats well, smiles a lot, likes to grab at her toys, and absolutely loves watching Riley.
